{"id":3091,"date":"2026-10-01T16:12:44","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T16:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dromosfestival.it\/evento\/bound-art\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T08:17:45","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T08:17:45","slug":"bound-art","status":"publish","type":"evento","link":"https:\/\/dromosfestival.it\/en\/evento\/bound-art\/","title":{"rendered":"Bound Art"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Saturday, October 10<\/strong>, at <strong>6:30 PM<\/strong>, at the Carlo Contini Art Gallery in Oristano, a meeting dedicated to the relationship between photography, eroticism, and kinbaku will accompany the finissage of \u201cSecret Pages,\u201d the exhibition curated by Sonia Borsato and dedicated to Nobuyoshi Araki, as part of the 28th edition of the Dromos Festival.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<strong>Bound Art: The Practice of Kinbaku in Araki\u2019s Poetics<\/strong>\u201d is the title of the debate that offers a reflection on one of the most discussed aspects of the Japanese photographer&#8217;s research: the practice of binding and its relationship with the representation of the body, desire, and intimacy.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coordinated by journalist <strong>Patrizia Mocci<\/strong>, the meeting will feature contributions from curator and art historian <strong>Sonia Borsato<\/strong>, <strong>Pietro Molinas Balata<\/strong>, from whose personal collection the 122 Araki photographs on display originate, writer <strong>Luca Scarlini<\/strong>, and <strong>Marco Carrus<\/strong>, performer and head of <em>Leg\u00e0mi Cagliari<\/em>, a project dedicated to the art of Shibari through training and artistic research.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion will begin with a brief introduction to the exhibition and will then focus on Araki&#8217;s poetics, the role of women in his research, and the complexity of the erotic practices represented in his photographs.
