The hidden, the unspoken, everything we do not know produces, in fact, a void of knowledge that human imagination tends to fill with conjectures, fantasies, and possible scenarios. Whether personal, spiritual, familial, or pertaining to History, Nature, or the Universe, secrets transform the world around us into a place of mystery and magic. Being made privy to a secret, moreover, creates a sense of complicity among those who are &#8220;in the know&#8221; because, as the German philosopher Friedrich Schiller said, the secret is a bond that unites people, and this bond can be a powerful tool for creating community and belonging.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the 2026 edition, Dromos therefore conceives a Festival made of <strong>SECRETS<\/strong> to explore, to unveil or safeguard, featuring a journey that winds through the depths of music, art, and human relationships. A voyage of discovery and introspection where mystery and curiosity meet, and where secrets become the common thread and unifying factor for the audience. <br\/><br\/>The intent is to interweave the concept of the secret, as defined by Honor\u00e9 de Balzac\u2014the lifeblood of our existence, what makes us human and curious\u2014with the concept of play, as conceived by philosopher Johan Huizinga. For the author of the illuminating essay Homo Ludens, play is not only an essential function of human culture, but also what precedes and founds it. Through the sense of complicity and sharing it creates among participants, it proves ideal both for concealing and protecting secrets, and for their unveiling and revelation. In short, in the metaphor of life, it becomes the key to living it more intensely.    <br\/><br\/>Concealment and discovery stand as concepts of interest and as fundamental elements in this edition of the festival. Dromos positions itself as the keeper of secrets, knowing what lies behind appearances and creating the atmosphere and conditions for the journey and process of revelation. The audience that takes part is, instead, the protagonist of what happens, a special guest who actively participates, seeks clues, and accepts, as a rule of the game, the suspense and tension created by secrets, the use of their own skill and intuition to discover them, to understand their hidden meaning in the works and performances through a gradual process that demands attention, curiosity, and imagination. In this sense, the festival is a unique and engaging experience in which the dynamic of the hidden and subsequent discovery creates an atmosphere of mystery that calls for commitment and exploration, and which ultimately, as a reward, leaves a sense of enchantment and participation.   <br\/><br\/>With the contemporary art exhibitions that, as every year, Dromos will present alongside the music festival, we will seek the secrets concealed in the most hidden recesses of the souls of artists whose hallmark is the exploration of the depths of human nature and sensuality. Works that are personal diaries where each image is a fragment of life and a moment of truth, an invitation to explore the unknown and one&#8217;s own mysteries to discover the truth that lies behind our certainties. The selected works offer glimpses of worlds of symbols and metaphors, where the visible and the invisible, reality and dream, life and death, beauty and decay, meet. A visual journey in which the secret is the true investigation, where each image is an enigma asking to be deciphered. A pact that requires commitment, for those who wish to go beyond the simple gaze, to dig deep to discover the mystery that lies beneath the surface of things, or of what we think is reality.
