Line-up

In the heart of the Sinis peninsula, the historic Cantina Contini opens its doors to a musical encounter of rare intensity. A landmark of Sardinian winemaking tradition, founded in 1898 and deeply rooted in the territory, it becomes the ideal setting for a concert that combines intimacy, exploration, and artistic dialogue.

The evening’s protagonists are Michael League and Bill Laurance, musical partners and close friends for over fifteen years. United by a profound understanding, the two artists present a duo project that traverses their respective repertoires, leaving room for unexpected sonic explorations.

Michael League, a three-time Grammy Award-winning musician, is known as the founder and bandleader of Snarky Puppy and the Bokanté project, as well as a producer, composer, and cultural promoter through his label GroundUP Music.

Bill Laurance, a multi-Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer, is also a founding member of Snarky Puppy and boasts a twenty-year career on stages around the world. Author of numerous albums that have topped international jazz charts, Laurance is distinguished by his writing that embraces multiple musical languages, from film music to contemporary dance, to experimentation between acoustic piano and electronics.
