Can music be an antidote to the present? This question gave rise to L’Antidote, a project that brings together three extraordinary musicians from Iran, Lebanon, and Albania: Bijan Chemirani, Rami Khalifé, and Redi Hasa.
Together, they create a free and borderless sound language where improvisation, tradition, and experimentation intertwine organically. The dialogue between Chemirani’s Persian percussion, Khalifé’s visionary piano, and Hasa’s intense cello builds musical landscapes suspended between the East and the Mediterranean, between written composition and instant creation.
The project took shape in 2020, on the eve of the pandemic, and has developed over time as a true meeting space: a place where individual identities merge into a common, authentic, and constantly evolving sound. Indeed, the album was born from a deeply shared process of mutual listening and improvisation, without barriers or preconceived patterns.
For the three musicians, music is both a refuge and a transformation: a gesture capable of absorbing the tensions of the present—amidst global crises, conflicts, and disorientation—and returning them in the form of energy, beauty, and possibility.

The concert, part of the program of the 28th edition of the Dromos Festival, is organized by the cultural association of the same name in collaboration with the Diocesan Museum of Oristano, with the support of the Municipality of Oristano, the MiC – Ministry of Culture, the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Department of Public Education, Cultural Heritage, Information, Entertainment and Sport and the Department of Tourism, Handicrafts and Commerce), and the Fondazione di Sardegna.
