Since the 1970s, she has explored diverse fields—from ancient to contemporary music, and from musical theater to world music—developing a profound investigation into traditional Sardinian singing, which has become the core of her artistic expression. A fundamental milestone in her career was meeting Mauro Palmas, with whom she shares projects and visions.
An interpreter of extraordinary intensity, she has brought her repertoire to stages across the globe, from Europe and the United States to Africa and Australia, collaborating with major international figures including Paolo Fresu, Don Cherry, and Noa.
Her discography and numerous artistic projects testify to a constant dialogue between roots and innovation, as seen in the award-winning Rosa Resolza, created with Andrea Parodi, which earned her the Tenco Prize.
