The Solis String Quartet is one of the most original and versatile chamber music ensembles on the Italian music scene. Founded in Naples in 1991 from the meeting of four musicians trained at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory, the quartet has built an artistic path over time capable of transcending the boundaries between musical genres and traditions.
Their distinctive hallmark lies in the ability to blend the rigor of classical training with the language of jazz, world music, pop, and contemporary music, giving life to projects with a strong creative character and refined original arrangements.
Throughout their career, they have collaborated with some of the most important artists on the international scene, including Noa, Pat Metheny, Jimmy Cliff, Omar Sosa, Richard Galliano, and Teresa Salgueiro, while also working alongside leading figures in Italian music such as Claudio Baglioni, Adriano Celentano, Elisa, Gianna Nannini, Ornella Vanoni, Eugenio Finardi, and Avion Travel.
