Subsonica is an Italian band formed in Turin in 1996 from the meeting of musicians from the city’s alternative scene: Samuel (vocals), Max Casacci (guitar), Boosta (keyboards), Ninja (drums), and bassist Pierfunk, later replaced by Vicio. Since their debut, the group has stood out for an original sound that blends rock, electronics, and club culture.
Following their recording debut with Subsonica (1997), the band achieved great popularity with albums such as Microchip emozionale, which includes tracks that have become iconic in Italian music. In the following years, the group consolidated its artistic identity through numerous records and intense live activity, becoming a benchmark of the contemporary Italian music scene.
Throughout their career, Subsonica have released several studio albums, receiving awards and accolades while continuing to experiment with different musical languages, always maintaining a strong live dimension and a direct relationship with their audience.
